In addition to his signature style of dancing on the "Tabla" (Arabic drum), Tito is the only dancer in the world who performs the "Asaya" dance with four canes. He's redefined belly dance in Egypt and all over the world by finally bringing the true authentic Egyptian dances from the local festivals of Egypt to stages all over the world. With his traditional garb and depictions of the true Egyptian-style belly dance, he's exposing the simple beautiful art that's been subject to many misunderstandings over the ages. Tito will take us on an exciting dance tour of Egypt where he will showcase several authentic Egyptian dance styles. This wonderful and unique opportunity to see a wide variety of styles from the stars of Egyptian dance is the closest you can get to experience this dance in its authentic Egyptian flavor without flying there. The event is hosted by the Hala Dance Company. Founded by an Egyptian to bring authentic Egyptian arts to the bay area. |
